the newlyweds, I mean really newlyweds
So, I know we are posted pictures of our wedding day, but we just got our pictures from the Photographer, so we got excited all over again!!! We STILL are waiting for pictures from the reception.... Perhaps we over did it with the Pictures, but hey... you only get married once right?? I would also like to note that Brandon posted the pictures, so some of them I look kind of funky in... for example the one with me crying, I would never show that to the public...but alas...I do not know how to take it off.... I promise this will be the second to last wedding post!! (still gotta do the reception silly!!)

Ka Ua Ka'a
Tonight Brandon and I attended Ka Ua Ka'a a production intertwining Hawaiian myths and legends through dramatic interpretation, modern and traditional hula, acrobatics, song and chant.
The Dancing was Amazing, the songs and chants were beautiful. It was a very beautiful engaging look into Hawaiian culture.
the show included this bendy lady, as I like to call her. I was afraid the acrobatics would make it cheesy, but it was very tasteful, and very impressive...
In conclusion: two thumbs way up!! We heart Hawaii!!

I love to see the Temple.....
So, that pretty much brings us up to date!!!
Brandon and I are EXTREMELY blessed to live a block away from the Temple. It is the coolest thing to be able to just walk to the Temple. We love the Hawaii Temple too! It is so beautiful!! These are some pictures Brandon took, and some of us too!! (for your viewing pleasure).
Jillian's Baptism!!
I came home In August getting ready to wear my "white dress" and so was my cutie patootie niece Jillian!!! She is such a doll! So sweet and so stinkin' cute!! I was getting really wrapped up in all the wedding stuff, so when she asked me to speak at her Baptism, it was exactly what I needed!! Something else to focus on!! It was such a great experience, I was so excited for Jilly!!
The Big 24!
May Day!!
Most of you know that I work at an elementary school. Well, in Hawaii all year long they prepare for a production they put on for may day. It is an understatement to say that is a big deal here. They practice all year long. Each grade is given a dance from somewhere in the world. My class did a jamacian dance! For the first time they got to preform it at the PCC. They were very excited.....
getting ready to boogie!
shake it!
this one made me cry, look in the right hand corner and you will see a boy otherwise constrained to a wheelchair, out there dancing with his class, thanks to dad!!
This is the prince and Princess of May Day! Basically all the kids vote, I was it is like homecoming for us (but in elementary school) these two went to Washington D.C. to dance there.

Kokua Music Festival
Boogie Boarding!!!
So, I can't surf.... but I LOVE the boogie boards!! Brandon taught me how to do it! first, we rode tandum until I was ok with the waves. Then he had to push me into the wave. After a bit I was kind of getting it. Brandon has no fear when it comes to the water, he skims on the shore with his board and acts like a crazy man....
