We attended the Bainbridge Island 4th of July parade with the rest of the Van Aken Family
I don't know how she did it but Jane managed to sleep through most of the event even the noisy police cars and fire trucks. (She gets that from the Frandsen side of the family)
Ashley and I got to meet our nephew Jaden for the first time

Can I just say how fun it has been to have you guys here?! We have really loved having you around and don't know if we're going to let you leave back to Hawaii. Maybe we'll hide in your suitcases. And the pics of Janey are so cute. It's been so great getting to know her - even though she always cries when I hold her. I will win her over one of these days!
how fun! its crazy how some babies can sleep through all that.
I'm glad I got to see some pictures since I wasn't able to be there, and Brad didn't take any! Looks like fun, as always.
I miss you Ash! I cant wait for you to come home next week. I'll be home all the time now+ Tuesdays and Thursdays I have no school! lOTS of beach days!
Youre in WA?? WHA??? Lets get toghether and play date it :)
LOL - I didn't even notice that you said oz. Thats how much I pay attention! I just saw the numbers and assumed they were pounds. :) But I really think that they were meant to be friends. They were due two weeks apart... and even though they both came early... they both still came two weeks apart... and now weigh and measure the same. They definately need to meet each other. They'll be best friends for sure! Janey is such a beautiful little girl - she's like a porcelain doll! I love it!
