Happy Mother's day (to me)!!!

Can I just say that this was my best mother's day ever!!! but seriously, I LOVED mother's day. It started with waffles with strawberries and whipped cream in bed. WHy does breakfast taste so much better in bed?? Then we went to church where all the mommas were given chocolate!!! HELLO, much better than a flower!!! THen I came home to Ribs and Mashed potatoes.... nothin' like Home cookin' to say thank you for being a good mom. Thanks Mom Frandsen for coaching him through it!!!

I just love being the mom, best job ever. I love Janey to bits and pieces!!! Thanks Janey for making me a mom, you are my favorite!!!

Mother's Day= Success.

Tribute to my 'Grandpapi' Pete

Recently my granpapi died due to complications from diabetes. He faught hard to stay with us as long as he could he truely loved life and lived every day to the fullest. To those who never got to know him might have dismissed him as an insignificant blue collar man working as a teamster for many years and a highschool janitor untill relatively recently when he was too frail to work. To everybody who knew him though he was a giant not only in stature but he had a big heart as well. He always had his home open to troubled teens and family members. He gave his all to the service of his extened family and community. I am gratefull for the few weeks I spent every summer at his home. He always had a way to make me laugh, whether is was telling embarissing stories about my mother's childhood or the shenanagans he would get into as a kid in NewJersey, to trying to steal all my girlfriends away from me. I remember at my wedding a couple summers back seeing him with two bridesmaids he just met sitting in his lap and everyone laughing their guts out. I remember him traveling up from Oregon to see my Dive and play baseball. I remember talking baseball, history, and guy stuff for hours at a time. The world will be different without Grandpapi Pete, we will all miss how much fun he made everything and how much love he showed everyone. We love you grandpapi Pete!! Rest in peace 'Old Man'

So Jenny, I THINK you tagged me to do this fun little post... but I wasn't sure becuase looks like you know another Ashley, but then I decided I want to do it no matter what!!! So here it is folks!! Not that exciting I know but what are you going to do.... THis is a picture at Sea like park here in Hawaii (think Sea world but smaller and in Hawaii) I wish there was a Dolphin or something in it but no dice.... I took the little girl Shaelynn I used to work with here during her spring break... She loved it and so did I!!! I have been three times since I moved here. Love it, love it, love it!

2 month well baby check up

This is Janey post well baby check up. I am so lucky that I love my doctor and nurses, She is my Doctor also who helped me through my pregnancy so everyone at the clinic was very excited to meet this little baby who made her mommy so sick.... They were great at her check up... Dr Chang had a student shadowing her so she got checked twice!! Janey wieghed 9 pounds 6 ounces and is 21 inches long. I know Brandon mentioned this but he wasn't even there so this is MY news!! She did really well, but mom did have to step out during the shots since I started crying before she even got them. After her shots I held her and she started to smile. After a little tylenol she was as happy as a clam! what a trooper, but I am going to let Brandon take her to get her next shots!! Brandon was so sweet with her and was extra careful with her legs while shanging her, so cute!!

P.S. The doctor said that Janey is right on track developmentally esp. since she was premature! The doctor also was very impressed that Janey could turn on her side (as are we) and told us to watch her like a hawk!!

Club February!

Here they are in all their glory!! Well, 4 out of 7 anyways... All these cutie-patooties were born in February and they are all in our ward! I tried really hard to get Janey to lay on her back like the rest of the babies, but she was tired and wanted to lay on her side, as soon as I got her on her back she would just flip to the other side.... Please ignore the fact that her dress and bloomers are falling off of her..... nothing really fit her at the time, but she is chunkin up now, don't worry.... And as you can see she is tired of getting her picture taken as she now just covers her face when she is not in the mood.... note the last picture and how comfortable she is sandwiched between her friends!!! I just love all Jane's little friends... aren't they all so cute!!! I just know they are all going to be the best of friends in Nursery!!
